In association with Cycling Projects in Accrington, The Hollins has been running a very successful cycling club on a Thursday after school. Up to 10 pupils have been braving the bad weather and riding around the Hyndburn Greenway with Mr Catlow and Mr Haworth.

Nichola Honey from Cycling Projects has organised and leads the rides and she has kindly provided all the bikes and helmets to use too. She has also taken some of the pupils on a passport to safer cycling course, where they had to demonstrate their road safety skills.

The club will be continuing up until Christmas and re starting again later in the year.
